The Cybersecurity Technology program will provide students with the technical skills
needed for a career in cybercrime, cryptography, biometrics, digital forensics, or
wireless defense mechanisms.
Interested students should submit an electronic application available
here, as well as a copy of their high school transcript. Additionally, all program participants
must take either the WorkKeys Assessment and obtain a Silver Certification or higher
or submit an ACT primary composite score of 15 prior to beginning coursework. The
Workkeys assessment is available at our office and is administered on an individual
basis.
The Cybersecurity Technology curriculum embeds opportunities to acquire multiple credentials.
A+ and Security+ certifications are required. Students are also prepared to sit for
the following non-required certifications: CCNA, CCST, Network+, and Linux+.
