Computer Technology

The Computer Technology program includes a basic core of courses designed to prepare a student for a variety of entry-level positions through selections of a concentration of 60 semester credit hours.  Students who successfully complete 30 semester hours as outlined in the program of study may be awarded a career certificate.

A career technical program is also offered for students who successfully complete 45 semester hours. Students who successfully complete 60 semester hours as outlined in the program of study may be awarded an Associate of  Applied Science degree.

Career Opportunities -
The Computer Technology program of study is an instructional program that prepares individuals for entry-level positions in managing computer operations in an office environment.  Software configuration, troubleshooting, network administration and system operations are included in the program.
