East Mississippi Community College pledges to provide high-quality, holistic music education to every student who chooses to pursue a career in Music Education or Music Performance — through exceptional faculty instruction, excellent pedagogy, and a wide array of performing ensembles.
Through our program, we hope to provide the East Mississippi area with qualified music educators, pedagogues, and artists who will continue to enrich and inspire others for years to come.

Unique Opportunities in the Percussion Studio
Each year the EMCC Percussion Studio takes their sophomores to compete at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) in Indianapolis — world-class concerts, clinics, and the largest gathering of percussionists in the world. We also invite world-renowned guest artists to perform with our percussion ensemble.
