Institutional Effectiveness

East Mississippi Community College’s Office of Institutional Research & Effectiveness (IR & E) coordinates the functions of accreditation, institutional planning and evaluation, and continuous improvement. IR & E also collects and disseminates vital information to ensure the College maintains a data-driven decision-making process.

EMCC maintains compliance with external reporting requirements with agencies such as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), the Mississippi Community College Board (MCCB), the National Center for Education Statistics: Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) through the Office of IR & E.
