Counseling to Career (C2C)

You’re Late ...”

“You’re Dressed Inappropriately ...”

“Your Attitude Needs Work ...”

These are familiar issues in the workplace. EMCC Workforce Services has a new program that will allow young people, ages 18-21, to receive valuable information to gain skills and know employers’ expectations within the workplace.

The C2C (Counseling to Career) program provides comprehensive one-on-one counseling to help each youth meet their goal to enter training or the workforce. Youth will participate in Smart Work Ethics training for 3 1/2
weeks to help gain soft skills and obtain permanent employment.

This curriculum will help youth with personal image, attitude, communication skills, good work ethics, interpersonal
communication skills, cognitive skills, organizational skills,
and personal life skills. Upon completion, participants will
enter a paid internship with area employers showcasing
their skills.
