Carpentry Level 1
Individuals will cover the following: Safety Rules, Basic Measurements, Computed Measurements, Shop – Using Hand Tools, Shop – Using Power Tools, Corners, Tees and Wall Layout, Constructing Wall Frames, Rafter Layout and Cutting, How to Install Ridge Board, Installing Rafters and Decking, Fascia Boards and Rain Drip Edge, Installing Shingles Ridge Vent and/or Ridge Cap Shop Projects. Carpentry Level 1 is 72 hours of training.
Carpentry Level 2
Individuals will cover the following: Operating Miter Saw, Cutting Molding, Cutting and fitting molding, Installing Insulation and Wood Paneling, Installing Sheetrock, Finishing Sheetrock, Finishing Sheetrock Painting, Installing Door Units, Installing Windows, Trim Doors and Windows, Shop Projects. Carpentry Level 2 is 72 hours of training.
Carpentry Level 3
Individuals will cover the following: Operating Router, Making Molding, Operating Band Saw, Operating Radial Arm Saw, Operating Jointer/Planer, Operating Belt/Disc Sander, Making Raised Panel Doors, Making Cabinets, Making Drawers, Mounting Drawers, Making and Using Shop Jigs, Shop Projects. Carpentry Level 3 is 72 hours of training.
Individuals will cover the following: Symbols and Abbreviations, Specifications, Scale and Working Drawings, Plot Plan and Foundation Plan, Floor Plan, Wall Sections and Elevations, Schedules and Floor Frame Plans, Roof Frame Plan, Windows and Doors, Stairs and Fireplaces, Cabinets and HVAC, Plumbing Plan, Electrical Plan, Quantities and Material List. Blueprint Reading is 48 hours of training.
