  • Manufacturing camp caters to middle and high schoolers

    Finally, a summer camp that can teach young people the skills to get a job one day. EMCC's Manufacturing, Technology and Engineering Division will host Camp AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Professionals) this summer at the Golden Triangle campus. Space is limited. Camp AMP sessions are coming up in June; the deadline to apply is May 2.

  • EMCC named one of top 150 community colleges in nation

    The Aspen Institute College Excellence Program has named East Mississippi Community College as one of the nation’s top 150 community colleges eligible to compete for the 2015 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence and $1 million dollars in prize funds.

  • Order yours today: Specialty EMCC license plate

    EMCC President Dr. Rick Young has announced the future availability of a specialty EMCC license plate. The State of Mississippi requires that EMCC pre-sell 300 tags before production can begin. EMCC has 90 days to meet that goal. Click the link for details and an order form … and spread the word!

  • Yokohama job-seekers pack auditorium at EMCC

    Almost 1,000 people showed up at East Mississippi Community College’s Golden Triangle campus Dec. 21 for information sessions about how to submit successful job applications to Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Mississippi.
