Admissions, Records and Registration

East Mississippi Community College operates Offices of Admissions, Records and Registration on the two main campuses, Scooba and Golden Triangle. Supplementary services are provided at the Columbus Air Force Base Extension. These offices serve the needs of faculty, students and alumni.

• Manages the application for admission process for all locations and program areas
• Coordinates communication between the college and prospective/admitted students
• Enforces admission and enrollment audit guidelines
• Maintains security of active student files and records
• Archives inactive student files and records

• Certifies attendance and earned degrees to outside institutions and agencies
• Inventories courses and each term's course offerings and locations
• Schedules classrooms for courses and academic special events
• Provides registration services to departments and students
• Creates and maintens academic records on students
• Records and reports enrollments and grades
• Maintains and issues transcripts
