  • West Lauderdale students tour EMCC's Scooba campus

West Lauderdale High School senior William Brantley had never visited EMCC's Scooba campus. That changed Feb. 5 when Brantley and two busloads of seniors from West Lauderdale disembarked at EMCC to take part in First Fridays, a new initiative that gives prospective students a chance to learn more about the college. The next First Fridays event at the Scooba and Golden Triangle campuses is March 4.

  • Get involved: Become an EMCC Student Ambassador

The deadline to submit an application to become an EMCC Student Ambassador for the 2016-17 school year is Friday, March 11. Student Ambassadors represent EMCC in the community and participate in recruiting events, both on and off campus. Successful applicants for these highly competitive positions receive scholarships in return for their service.

Want to visit EMCC? Recruiters have added a "First Friday" date, March 4, to their schedule.
