Reserve Officers' Training Corps

Air Force ROTC:
Golden Triangle campus

Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps is a four-year program that trains and develops the future leaders in the U.S. Air Force.  EMCC students are eligible to enroll in the first two years of instruction at Mississippi State University.  These first two years of instruction cover General Air Force Knowledge, the History of Aviation (military application), physical training, and leadership laboratory.  Upon completing the fourth year, cadets will be commissioned into the U.S. Air Force as Second Lieutenants, active duty.

Army ROTC:
Golden Triangle campus

The Army ROTC program is designed to produce future officers in the U.S. Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard.  The program gives student cadets a chance to attend college and gain valuable knowledge and insight about U.S. Army components.  In addition, it trains them to have the confidence they need to lead young men and women in the armed forces.

During classes, leadership labs, physical training, and field training exercises, students learn firsthand what it takes to lead others, motivate groups, and conduct missions as officers in the Army.  Upon graduation from Army ROTC, students will earn the bar of Second Lieutenant and be commissioned into the U.S. Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard.
