East Mississippi Community College maintains a campus police department made up of fully-sworn law enforcement officers. The team is headed up by Police Chief Archer Sallis of Scooba and Assistant Chief Jeff Jowers of DeKalb. The officers of the EMCC Police Department are, first row from left, Justin Thomas of Clarkdale, Lisa White of DeKalb, Teresa Windish of Scooba, Assistant Chief Jeff Jowers of DeKalb and Ricky Robinson of DeKalb. In the second row are Derek Thomas of Clarkdale, Adam Pate of Reform, Ala., Jerome Jackson of DeKalb, Steve Windish of Scooba, Police Chief Archer Sallis of Scooba and Shelia Peel of Porterville.
