  • EMCC recruiters invite juniors and seniors to "First Fridays"

    EMCC is launching a new initiative to introduce junior and senior high school students, and their parents, to our campuses. "First Fridays" are an opportunity for students to attend a brief session on either the Golden Triangle or Scooba campus, take a tour and learn more about EMCC scholarships, programs and campus organizations.

  • GTECHS students at EMCC dub themselves the "Wildcats"

    Mississippi’s first early college high school has discovered its inner Wildcat. Students at Golden Triangle Early College High School learned the result of their vote for the school’s mascot and colors in an unveiling ceremony Monday at EMCC’s Golden Triangle campus. GTECHS, or “G-Techs” as the staff calls it, are the Wildcats. And their colors are blue and gold.

  • EMCC instructor takes first place at Meridian Museum of Art

    EMCC Scooba campus art instructor Lisa Spinks’s drawing, titled “Sneakers,” won her 1st Place in the drawing category at the Meridian Museum of Art’s People’s Choice competition July 25.

  • EMCC offers new Electro-mechanical & Mechatronics program

    EMCC’s Manufacturing Technology & Engineering Division has launched the Electro-mechanical Technician Program at the Golden Triangle campus. The program will teach students to troubleshoot and repair automated electronics and robotics used by local industries from PACCAR Engine Company and Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Mississippi to the Columbus Brick Company and the feed mill at Prestage Farms.
