800 high school students attend spooky Reality Fair

Release date: Oct. 31, 2013

More than 800 area high school students attended EMCC's annual Reality Fair at the Golden Triangle campus. EMCC faculty and staff got into the Halloween spirit at the Oct. 29 event, with costumes and spooky treats to go along with a lot of good information about the college’s academic and career-technical programs. New this year were a Halloween skit about perils of talking during class and the Haunted Hallway – where the EMCC team scared its guests into thinking seriously about their post-graduation plans. The 16 high schools represented at the Reality Fair were West Point, Oktibbeha County, New Hope, Starkville Christian, Starkville Academy, Victory Academy, Columbus, Caledonia, Hebron, French Camp, Oak Hill Academy, Starkville, Noxubee County, Kemper, Central Academy and West Lowndes.
