Become an EMCC Ambassador!

Release date: Feb. 2, 2017

The East Mississippi Community College Ambassador Program was developed to give current students the opportunity to assist with recruitment efforts by participating in high school college fairs, on-campus events, course registration, football game day activities, giving campus tours, and writing prospective students.

Those who participate in the program will also have the opportunity to enhance their communication skills, ability to work within a team, and ability to manage time effectively. Ambassadors register for a one-hour credit course, attend meetings, and spend one hour a week working in the recruitment office.

To participate in the program and receive the associated scholarship, students must maintain a 3.0 GPA and finish the semester with a minimum of 15 hours.

The deadline to submit an application to become an East Mississippi Community College Ambassador for the 2017-18 school year is Friday, March 10.
