East Mississippi Community College honored long-serving employees at the annual Convocation meeting Aug. 13 on the Scooba campus. Employees with 10, 15, 20 and 30 years of experience were recognized with distinguished service pins.

The employee recognized for the most years of service to EMCC was District Accounts Receivable Manager Judy Higginbotham, who has worked for the college for 30 years. Saved until last, the announcement was followed by a spontaneous ovation, as Judy Higginbotham's co-workers rose to their feet with shouts and applause as she made her way down the aisle at Stennis Auditorium to accept her service pin. Go, Judy!
