What is MSEIP?
The Minority Science and Engineering Improvement Program is designed to improve the quality of science and engineering education as well as to open doors for underrepresented groups in science and engineering career fields and educational opportunites.

What are the goals for MSEIP?

• To increase the enrollment of minorities and women in science and engineering related programs.
• To increase retention, graduation, and transfer rates of minorities and women majoring in science and engineering related programs.
• To assist in job placement opportunities for women and minorities that graduate from science and engineering related programs.
• To provide a long-range improvement plan for the Science and Mathematics Division at East Mississippi Community College.
