Brianna May graduated from EMCC’s Scooba campus in spring 2013. She plans to study radiology at University Medical Center in Jackson: “Going to EMCC has prepared me for the next level, especially in the science courses … you had to learn to manage your time and get things done with no excuses.”

Leigh Ellen Barefield of Preston graduated from EMCC in spring 2011. "I plan to further my education at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus," Leigh Ellen said. "I plan to become a math teacher and ... teach at the college level. Attending EMCC was a great choice for me because it helped me adjust to the college lifestyle."
Why EMCC? Softball scholarship ... I was stoked!
Karley Hall graduated with Special Honors from EMCC's Scooba campus on May 12. In this story, she looks back at what brought her to Lion Country and what's next. And, she offers this piece of advice for future students: "GO TO CLASS! It pays off. I understand you will get sick or might play ball, but other than that, go to class. If you do that and most of your homework, you will be fine."
