  • Meet our graduates: Caterer Allie Clark

    Cooking has always been the easy part for Allie Clark. The tricky part came when she began mixing business with pleasure. And that’s what led her to EMCC's Golden Triangle campus. “You’ve got to know the math part to calculate serving size, which affects food costs," Clark said. "You also have to know your biology from a safety standpoint."

  • Meet our graduates: Pitcher/pre-med major Smokey Ethridge

    Smokey Ethridge says he has lost count of the number of times he’s been asked if "Smokey" is his real name. It’s unlikely, however, that the Scooba campus or the baseball program will soon forget him. "It’s been a great two years, getting to know so many new people ... and playing here," Ethridge said. "It was unlike any environment I’d ever been in and I really enjoyed it."

  • Nearly 600 students graduate in three spring ceremonies

    Almost 600 East Mississippi Community College students earned associate’s degrees and vocational certificates during three graduation ceremonies held May 10-11 at the Golden Triangle and Scooba campuses. Visit this link for a list of their names ... and congratulations to all out graduates!

New Student Union in Scooba ...

A brand-new, 36,000-square-foot Student Union welcomes fall students at the Scooba campus.
 The building includes the Commons, a large area
 for students to socialize or wait for their next
 class, as well as a cafeteria, grill, bookstore,
 convenience store, banquet and meeting rooms
 and a large outdoor patio area.
