  • First EMCC student graduates from MI-BEST program

    On May 25, Kayle Johnson will graduate from EMCC's Manufacturing Skills Certification program. The next day, she will walk with other EMCC graduates who have earned their GED. This makes Johnson the first student at EMCC to complete the Mississippi’s Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training (MI-BEST) program, which allows students to earn college credits or certifications while working on their GED.

  • CREATE Foundation honors C2C counselor Yulanda Haddix

    EMCC Counseling to Career (C2C) Counselor Yulanda Haddix's work with at-risk youths was recognized when she became one of five finalists nominated for the 2016 Jefferson Award for Public Service. The award is sponsored by the CREATE Foundation of Tupelo.

  • Miss. Department of Education: Spotlight on GTECHS!

    Golden Triangle Early College High School was recognized May 12 during a monthly meeting in Clinton of the State Board of the Mississippi Department of Education. Visit this link to watch a videotape about GTECHS played for board members during the Superintendent's Report.

  • Assistant VP Leia Hill attends SEDI leadership conference

    EMCC Assistant Vice President of Institutional Advancement Leia Hill has been chosen to participate in the 2016 State Executive Development Institute leadership session at the John C. Stennis Institute of Government and Community Development at Mississippi State University.

New Student Union in Scooba ...

A brand-new, 36,000-square-foot Student Union welcomes fall students at the Scooba campus.
 The building includes the Commons, a large area
 for students to socialize or wait for their next
 class, as well as a cafeteria, grill, bookstore,
 convenience store, banquet and meeting rooms
 and a large outdoor patio area.
